5.4.2 17BConnecting to the VP-790 via the Warp Generator Software

To connect to the VP-790 via the Warp Generator Software to upload or update the

Warp map, do the following:

1. Click the Connect button on the top left hand side of the Warp Generator

main window (see

UFigure 23U).

2. One of two windows appears:

 The Connect to Unit window, if you are connecting for the first time or

via a new IP number, see

UFigure 24U.

Type the IP address, click on the Add an Address button, select the IP

number in the area below and then click the Connect to Unit button

 The Auto Connect window, if you have been using the same IP number,

(see

UFigure 2U5).

Click the Yes button
